The guidance should age better than the paper.
Corrections, platform changes and source reviews are recorded clearly—without pretending a printed book can stay current by itself.
New free resources and focused support pilots
Six school IT templates now have dedicated pages, editable text files, worked examples and a printable pack. Five fresh park activities use new website text and drawings. The free Mac next-check tool replaces the earlier paid-access prototype, and focused documentation, training and Mac-review pilots have clear enquiry routes.
School IT PDF page count corrected for Version 4.2
The current School IT Survival Guide digital PDF has 270 pages in total: 268 interior pages plus the front and back covers. The catalogue, book details, Book Finder, search and companion now use the corrected figures.
Mia Colouring & Activity Book is now available
Colouring & Activity Book: with Mia at Dandy Park is available as a paperback on Amazon UK and US. For ages 3–7, it combines early phonics and maths activities with 15 colouring scenes, including 12 cosy colouring breaks.
School IT workbench updated to Version 4.2
The free workbench is now part of lalite.org. It adds guided checks, twelve record types, reflection after resolved or unresolved issues, first-month and assessment plans, ten two-stage cases and an evidence-based Ethernet EMI explorer.
Every update answers three questions: what changed, why it matters, and what you should do.
