A practical Mac troubleshooting review

Make sense of a storage warning, slowdown or recurring symptom with a focused review of the evidence.

30-minute remote reviewWritten outcomeQuote on request

Who it is for

Mac owners who want a clear next check.

The first enquiry establishes whether this is the right format for your task. Any additional work needs its own agreed scope.

What the review or session includes

  • Discuss one main symptom and distinguish what is observed from what is assumed.
  • Review agreed, sanitised screenshots or a suitable report if available.
  • Identify a cautious first step and the before-and-after comparison to make.
  • Record unresolved questions and whether hands-on repair or another specialist is needed.

What you receive

A written sequence of next checks, what to compare and the point at which specialist repair is appropriate.

The delivery date and any follow-up are agreed before the booking is confirmed.

How to prepare

Send a short symptom summary and the macOS version if you know it. Any screenshots or reports are agreed later; remove names, serial numbers and personal material before sharing.

Please use the first message for a summary only. Keep passwords, recovery keys, pupil records and other confidential material out of the form.

The scope

A review cannot guarantee a repair or establish hardware health from a screenshot. Remote-control access and software installation are not included in this pilot.

How booking works

  1. Send a short description of the task and the outcome you need.
  2. Agree the fit, scope, fee, date and any access arrangements in writing.
  3. Confirm the booking, then prepare the agreed evidence or scenario.
  4. Attend the session and use the written next steps.
